Headache Type which must you know
Headaches are no longer a taboo subject to be discussed. Headache
is a condition when there is pain and discomfort in the head, scalp, or neck.
This disease is very common, and an estimated 7 out of 10 people experience at
least one headache every year. Most headaches are not severe and can be
overcome by taking medication for yourself, drink enough water and get plenty
of rest. However, some headaches need to be treated more due to conditions that
can be life threatening
The causes of headaches vary depending on the location of the
onset of pain. Can be caused due to disorders in the head structure, certain
diseases, to problems with the environment or psychological problems.
Dizziness can be caused by things outside the disease.
Examples include swirling, poisoning, side effects of treatment, or standing
too fast.
Everyone has experienced headaches. However, everyone can
experience pain in different parts of the head. There are several points of
location that often feel painful when attacked by headaches, for example such
as above the eyes and ears, the top of the head, and the back of the head to
the upper neck.
1. MIGRAIN HEADACHE
Migraines are sometimes preceded by warning symptoms. Triggers include hormonal changes, certain foods and drinks, stress, and exercise. And Migraine is a one-sided headache that usually occurs due to
stress, lack of sleep, mostly taking unnecessary medication, and lack of
nutrition.
But, if too often, migraines can be an early sign of brain
nerve infection and even stroke.
Migraine headaches can cause throbbing pain in one particular area which can vary in intensity. Nausea and sensitivity to light and sound are also common symptoms.
Painkillers and pain relievers can help with migraine headaches.
2. SICK TENSION
Mild to moderate pain is often described as feeling like a tight coil around the head.
Several factors can cause tension headaches, including stress, lack of sleep, and poor posture.
The main symptom is pain on both sides of the head that may be related to muscle pain.
Handling includes painkillers and other drugs. Stress reduction, ice packs or heat on the aching muscles, and good posture can also help.
3. CERVIGOVENIC
HEADACHE
A headache that hurts at the top of the head to the neck.
Usually due to too much activity to feel tired. A cervicogenic headache is a pain that develops in the neck, even though a person feels the pain in their head. Cervicogenic headaches are secondary headaches. Secondary headaches are those caused by an underlying condition, such as neck injuries, infections, or severe high blood pressure
4. CLUSTER HEADACHE
Headaches that occur patterned or clustered.
Frequent attacks, known as group periods, can last from weeks to months, usually followed by long periods of relief (absence of symptoms). During the absence of symptoms, attacks can stop for months, even years.
Severe pain on one side of the head, accompanied by symptoms such as discharge from the nose, or red or watery eyes.
Injectable drugs, inhaled oxygen, steroids, and preventative medicines can help.
5. HEADACHES TMJ
Headaches around the temples that can occur due to jaw
chewing or talking too fast.
